A new Addition to the Bookshelf

Hello sweet friends!  I hope you’re doing well on this fine Monday morning!  Last week while visiting one of my favorite stores, T.J. Maxx I was smitten by this big ceramic vase. I had been looking for a more substantial piece to add to our bookshelf in the living room. I liked everything about this one, the size, the color and texture, needless to say, she came home with me.

Vase I started fluffing the shelves and found the perfect spot for the new addition.

Vase 1 Sometimes too many small items can appear too busy and it takes a larger piece to rest your eyes a bit.

Bookshelf As you can see, I also placed the terrarium on the top shelf, I’m planning on adding some knick-knacks or books inside it.  There is no telling what I’m up to next….just come back and see me!

    I love that vase! It is perfect in your bookshelf. Do you have a HomeGoods store near to you, too? If you love TJ Maxx, watch out…HomeGoods is even more dangerous!

    Hi Moni, Your shelves look great. Shelf styling is one are of decorating that I have trouble with. I may need to add some larger items to mine.

    Your shelves are decorated so nicely! The new vase looks great. We just added some floating shelves to our living room wall and now I’m trying to fill them up. :)
