Catching up

Hi Everyone!  We are back from visiting our family in Ft.Worth.  A wonderful time was had by all, catching up on smiles and hugs was first on our agenda. Time always flies when you’re having fun. Our visit also included a trip to Potterybarn, Home Goods and a nice lunch with family at Panera Bread Company. Living in Lubbock we miss out on visiting those establishments on a regular basis. We left town after attending a piano recital with two of our grands performing. It was such a treat for us to see their hard work and practice pay off and to see them shine on stage. We are so proud of them as we are of all five grandchildren, each of them amaze us with their talents at any given time. If you are a grandparent you know what I’m talking about.

    What a quick trip you had! I even looked at our Target for the sock monkeys to no avail…
    Recitals…my parents would drive down for all of them. Special times for sure.
    My favorite line in your post? The Doxology. My husband and I sing it every once in awhile to sing our praises to our God…thank you for those beginning words of praise.
