Time for a Treadmill ~

We purchased a treadmill and plan to use it faithfully!   Husband and I decided it was time to get moving.  We always talk about including walking in our morning routine but very seldom get out there and do it. No more excuses !


All the pieces are assembled and she is ready to roll!  What are you up to this weekend?

Orange Bundt Cake

Funny thing,  I was cleaning out the cabinets (dusting) and re-arranging the cookbooks when I stumbled across this recipe I scribbled on a piece of paper years ago.  I think I copied it from our Judy ( hubby’s niece)  she is such a good cook.  I wonder if she still makes this cake.   Anyway, since I had all of the ingredients on hand I decided to make this yummy Bundt cake.  The lemon pudding and frozen orange juice add a delightful citrus flavor to the cake.



1  box yellow cake mix

1 box Lemon Pudding Mix Instant ( 3.4-oz.)

4  eggs

3/4  cup oil

3/4  cup water


2  cups powdered sugar

1/3  cup plus 2 Tbsp. frozen Orange Juice

2  Tbsp. melted butter


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and grease and flour Bundt pan ( I use Baker’s Joy).  Combine cake mix with all other ingredients, mix with hand mixer on low speed for 2 minutes. Then transfer batter into baking pan.  Bake at 325 degrees F for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

Prepare glaze – combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until powdered sugar is dissolved. Poke holes into warm cake and pour glaze on it….after 10 minutes invert cake onto a plate. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar….so yummy!
