Estate Sale Finds

It’s a busy day today “at Home”…some last minute tidy-up kind of a day. I was hoping to get back to an estate sale today, where most items left will be reduced by 50%. I checked it out a couple of days ago and the beautiful crystal and silver serving pieces were a little out of my price range. The owner was an avid collector of blue and white dishes, decorative pieces , even her potting shed was filled with blue and white pottery, just beautiful!
I picked up this simple vintage platter it reminds me of ironstone, no stamp found on the bottom of this dish though.
It is a lovely platter, with all of it’s flaws and imperfections I still like it.
This cutting board has a very rustic look to it….that’s what appealed to me , so I brought it home.
What about you? Have you been to any Estate Sales lately? What was your favorite item?
I’m looking forward to visiting with you more at a later time….I hope you have a really nice weekend!

Haven’t been to an estate sale in a long time – not too many of them in my area. You got a couple of great finds!
Very fun find! I love the rustic cutting board. Can’t wait to see it in person!

Nice finds. Love the bread board.
You’re such a good shopper Moni. It must be a talent of yours, and one I wish I possessed. I love both the platter and the cutting board. Yay you!
Have a great day!
Love your site!! New follower from The Shabby Chic Cottage and adding you to my “to follow” list.Your white estate sale platter made me smile. I have a platter exactly like that; used everying evening meal when I was growing up, it’s now hung above my kitchen window reminding me of mom’s wonderful home cooked meals. Enjoy your day!!
Aww, so nice of you to comment on the platter. I’m so glad you have one like it and it holds sweet memories for you!
