Fall Centerpiece

Hi sweet friends …. I had the best time yesterday….lucked out on an estate sale find….. only paid $1.00 for this over- sized galvanized pan, which had just the right amount of patina. I spied it in the garage under a table, no one was looking there at the time….you know how busy an estate sale can be during the first hour.
Please excuse the dirt in the pan… it’s about to be cleaned up…
All cleaned up filled with fall goodies and placed on the dining room table. Okay, what is inside this pan? Let’s take a look… a mum, which is placed into a plastic liner, then wrapped in burlap, several pumpkins (the real thing) some fruit, a cute cabbage and some leaves (all faux). This turned out to be quite a substantial arrangement!
Here you see it out on the patio table, a nice touch of color.
Okay, I think it’s a keeper!!
Hope your day is filled with joy and simple pleasures……
I love your visits!
savvy southern style , between naps on the porch

I love it.
So cute! I love it!
Love that arrangement in the pan, although I have to admit ~ at first I thought it said you paid $100 for that pan and I was like, “Whaaat?!” lol Glad it was only $1.00. (Love those decimal points…)
That looks fabulous! I can’t believe you found that for a $1. Great find. I am an estate sales fanatic!! LOL So happy to find your great blog. Your newest follower.
I love this. Please link it to my linky party & anything else you have to share. It just went live a little early

It amazes me how you can envision and create something so pretty out of a dirty old pan. I’ve always known you are talented and I’m so happy that others will be inspired by your creativity now too.

The pan is an oil pan – used for putting under the engine of the car while you were changing the oil to catch the used oil -it is a beautiful arrangement you made!!

Great pan, I thought you paid $100 too, I couldn’t see the decimal point. So with only paying $1, you got a great bargain. The pan looks great on the table with your fall arrangement.
This is so warm and charming that I’ve given you the Spotlight over at I Gotta Create! You are a featured STAR.

Very pretty center piece.
Such a great use for something that was probably destined for the garbage. I really like the way you filled the pan. I just bought a galvanized holder-thingy. Now I know what I;ll do with it! Thanks for inspiring me. Hopped over from I Gotta Create.
Following now, also!
That galvanized pan was an amazing find – you decorated it beautifully for fall! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
Love the pan! It reminds me of one that I swiped from my hubby that he was using as an oil chanage drip pan. Don’t you love it when items are aged by use? Lovely!
