Paintings and Mother Nature go hand in hand, don’t you think. I love watercolor paintings, and my dream of picking up a paint brush is still alive and well. If it was just that easy, it sure would thrill my heart.
I came across this beautiful piece of art on Pinterest. Isn’t it pretty? Beautifully done in autumnal colors.
So when I peeked into T.J. Maxx the other day, I noticed this collection of fall dishes on one of their shelves. Standing there gazing at them, I started thinking about that beautiful artwork. Before I knew it, the plate jumped in my basket and I was headed for the check-out. I knew it would work well as an accent plate on the sideboard, see it next to the curtains – made for each other.
I was excited to include the new plate as I added some fall elements, white dishes and some of my vintage pewter pieces to the sideboard.
The orange pumpkins placed on an old bread board are so much fun…they add a pop of color for sure! The grapes peeking out of the white pitcher are faux, but they look real.
This vignette brings a touch of autumn to the sideboard….simply inspired by a single leaf painted on a plate.
I’m so happy you stopped by….Happy Fall Y’all!
