How is it going? Are you getting excited about fall? I sure am. While it was 95 degrees outside I pulled out some of my fall goodies and craft supplies that had been in storage. I closed my eyes for just a minute and imagined the leaves were falling, the wind was blowing and there was a chill in the air and with that in mind, I created my first fall project for this year.
This project was easy and wouldn’t take much time….I like that!
Here are my supplies, except for a little more moss and a glue gun. I purchased the small metal pails from Target on clearance right after Easter. I knew I could repurpose them for any number of things. For this craft I removed the gingham ribbon from the pail.
The moss was glued to the rim of the metal pail. I even burned my finger during the process, ouch!
Next, I glued black and white gingham ribbon around the pail, this is where I would attach the bow.
This flaky stuff is that a type of moss? It was in the same package as the moss…anyway, I used some for extra dimension and texture.
Here ya go, all done! I like it when it all comes together so quickly! A cute little fall pick-me-up!
I hope you have a super day, thanks so much for visiting!
