Favorite Projects in 2012
December 27, 2012 by admin • 69 Comments
I’m still a “newbie”, I started blogging about three months ago. It has been such a fun adventure for me and what I appreciate the most is you, my new “bloggie” friends. Your kind words and sweet comments lift my spirits and make me try harder. You are the wind beneath my wings.
My favorite projects so far are definitely the tablescapes and vignettes. I tackle them with a lot of enthusiasm and joy. Looking back, here are a few of the favorites:
The estate sale find galvanized “oil pan” became a vessel to hold “fall’s bounty”. Read about it here.
An old drawer found at an antique mall was filled with “shades of green” and became part of a tablescape.
Thanksgiving tablescape displayed natural and rustic elements. You can read about it here.
Christmas Tablescape , my inspiration was this fun plaid tartan ribbon….the center of the table became the stage for ribbon and ornaments, all in plaid. Posted here.
I also love decorating the sideboard (server). The old shutter lends itself well as a backdrop for many scapes and vignettes, this scape includes the beloved cyclamen.
I dearly love to decorate or “tweak” the tray on the coffee table.
Decorated right around Thanksgiving, PB style…posted here.
I also enjoyed creating this Christmas craft….a sweet cranberry wreath.
Last but not least, a favorite recipe comes along and I have to try it…..most of the time it is simple and calls for few ingredients, but tastes really good like this Apple Bread.
These are a few of my favorite projects I posted about this past year….I can’t wait for the opportunity to tackle more projects in 2013 and for you to join me in this fun adventure.
So thankful you stopped by, hugs to you!

How well you have used your creative juices, both in cooking and decor. Having favorite things that you can tweak is one of my favorite ways to redecorate. You also do good work with your camera.
