Fence Board Projects….

This is what it looks like around our house today. We’re having our fence replaced. A large portion of the fence blew down a couple of months ago when some pretty strong storms passed through the area. We were able to brace the sections of the fence that collapsed and now it is time to put up a new fence. We are planning on keeping some of the old fence boards and use them for some outdoor projects.
Here are just some of the ideas that come to mind when I’m thinking about reclaimed wood: A potting bench, or how about a new planter box? Following (4) images were taken from Pinterest….
Some great inspiration! Can’t wait for hubby to get busy on the saw. So much to do, so little time, right?
On a more cheerful note, I’ve planted a few flowers into a big flower-pot located right next to the front door. It’s nice to see that pop of color there. My daffodils are late to bloom this year, I can’t wait! Happy Spring, y’all!
Thanks so much for stopping by, come back soon!

Moni, lucky, lucky you! The possibilities for those fence boards are endless, aren’t they? I’ll look forward to seeing some of them repurposed into great projects. And you planted my very, very favorite flower color combination. I almost always plant the large urns on my front porch in exactly those colors…hot pink geraniums, sweet white alyssum, and yellow pansies. LOVE IT! Great minds think alike….

All those projects look great, can’t wait to see what you do. I would love to have a potting bench. Happy Spring!!! XO, Pinky
I’m sure there’s lots of ideas for using old fence boards. You could even make a headboard!
