Glamour Bunny

Over the weekend I took a closer look at what’s in my Easter decorations box. All sorts of bunnies jumped out at me. There are homemade wooden bunnies, fabric bunnies,  ceramic bunnies and collector bunnies. Over the years I shared some of my Easter decor with our daughter, but seems like the bunnies keep multiplying.  I still have a bunch.  I cleared the box out and then carefully put everything back in it’s place, except one ceramic bunny.  He’s been in my Easter stash for years and I figured I should make him special and decided to paint him. I’m always amazed of what a little paint can do.

Cute bunny, I hope he won’t mind that I will change his appearance.

Out came the gold spray paint.  After a couple of coats of paint and adequate drying time I was ready to bring him inside.

Here we go…the new and improved glamorous bunny.  He looks like one of those Lindt chocolate bunnies.  Very sophisticated!  Oh, and the flowers?  My sweet hubby went grocery shopping on Saturday and came home with beautiful alstroemerias for me, yellow, purple and pink ones. Just because…isn’t that sweet?

I hope you have a very happy day!

What a cute, glamorous bunny–I’m not sure if I’d want any reminders of chocolate, though :). I’m addicted to Cadbury eggs!

I think the bunny was great as it was originally, but the gold paint made it awesome! Thanks for the awesome blog post!
