Guest Bathroom Make-over

January 13, 2014 by 5 Comments

Hi there!  How was your weekend?  We enjoyed warmer weather however, windy and dusty.  Hubby and I spent last weekend doing some clean-up chores around the house and I also started on a small painting project.  I decided to refresh the guest bath with some new paint.

So on Saturday I spent the day in this little room, prepping and painting.  The color was changed from light green to light grey, it didn’t take long at all.

I’m also liking the new shower curtain from Target’s Threshold collection.  I’m still busy shopping for a new mirror and bath mat. This morning, my car wouldn’t start (battery) so hubby is out getting a new battery for me, hopefully I can be on the road in a jiffy.  I will post more photos and fill you in on the details once the room is finished.

Have a great week everybody!

What color did you use? I love that, it’s so soft and ethereal, or serene, wouldn’t want it to be too soothing or somebody might fall asleep in the tub. It’s so pretty tho, I really love it.The shower curtain couldn’t be better, love stripes in different shades.
Our guest bath is a weird brown with green tinge in it, gag. We were broke so bought a rejected gallon of paint, (gee wonder why). It’s just gagacious, lol, love to paint bathroom the gray you used, could use same color in hallway then, would be nice adjacent to bathroom (or maybe one shade darker. As you can tell I think as I go along.
Well taking little break from purging/organizing my craft room. What a job but know when I get done I’ll be very glad. Getting rid of many craft supplies, tools I haven’t used in year or more. It’s very small room so need to make some room but oh the mess while I work on it, groan. Happy week
Our sun is shining too so not too bad a day, in low 30′s, can’t complain.

  4. I love the grey pain color you’ve chosen! I’m thinking about using a similar color in my basement to help bring in some light and freshness!
I would love it if you’d link this post up to my Frugal Crafty Home Blog Hop. Our readers love to see transformations like this!
