I’ve been playing and fluffing the fall decor around the house. I think my reclaimed wood tray is getting a little tired of being moved around so much, it seems to be my “go to tray” for the fall decorations. Generous size, heavy and rustic….the perfect platform to build on. This time I used it for arranging yet another vignette on the sideboard after coming home from the grocery store with this blue pumpkin. My husband told me I would find some inspiration for a new post while out running errands with him today. He knows me so well.
I gathered a few items to place on the tray. Something old, something new and something blue – how about that?
What’s new are the pumpkins and the white pitcher filled with wheat sheath…all of the dishes are vintage as is the glass bottle and the silver spoon.
This burlap bag simply had to be used for this vignette…it adds even more rustic charm.
A fun way to add some new life to a vintage soup tureen is to put some pumpkins in it.
I’m really happy the way this vignette turned out, just how I like it….rustic and refined…less is more.
How are you doing? How is your Fall decorating coming along?
