My Home Goods Purchase and a new Vignette

Hi Y’all and Happy Monday to you!  I hope your week is off to a good start!  We came home to an empty refrigerator and with just a few items left in the pantry, a trip to the grocery store was first on our list, shortly after unpacking and some laundry. That happened yesterday. Today I would like to share a little bit more about our trip. I had a chance to stop at the Home Goods store where I purchased this charming ceramic basket with two little birds perched on either side. The way they are positioned, leaning into the center, looks like they are chatting with each other. Love the texture and details of this piece which is part of a collection called “Grace” tea ware.

Bird Basket I added some Queen Anne’s Lace to the basket and created this quick vignette on the side-board.

Spring Vignette The fun vintage soda bottle shown here was also purchased at Home Goods.  The fern in the terra-cotta pot is a faux plant, and the small ceramic vase in center came from Ikea, for me it was actually a thrifty find. Creating this vignette makes me long for spring, hopefully it’s just around the corner.

    Moni, where did you find Queen Anne’s lace this time of year? It looks so pretty. And I totally thought that little fern was real! Your vignette is so fresh looking and spring-y. We haven’t had much of a winter here, but count me among those ready for spring! Have a great week!

      Thanks, Debbie…I found the flowers at my local market/floral dept. I feel better doing the grocery shopping if I can swing by the floral shop. Hope you also have a great week!

    Moni, I was in Ft. Worth (Grapevine) at the same time you were…been kickin myself in the pants for NOT going to Home Goods! Ive never been & have wanted to so bad…cant belive I was so close and didnt go! Next time it will be first on my list! lol :) Love your sweet birdie basket! You find the greatest things!
