Pom-Pom Pillow
January 4, 2013 by admin • 42 Comments
Tis’ the season for Pom-Poms; they are just so happy and fun! After finding much inspiration in blogland, I decided to make some pom-poms to cozy up one of the pillows I recently purchased. The yarn I used was left over from another project and I had enough to make 6 – 2 inch pom-poms.
I used a piece of 4 inch cardboard and wrapped my yarn around it…about 50 times. Then I slipped it off the cardboard and tied the middle. With the yarn being secured in the center, I snipped the loops and gave it a good trim all over.
The pillow came from World Market and was purchased at a discount. I decided to change the look by attaching pom-poms to the buttons. I simply glued them on .
Now isn’t that cute? The pom-poms gave this pillow some character, cozied it up a bit?
That was a fun craft…really simple and quick. My kinda project !
The weekend is just around the corner…I hope you have a great one!

Oh my gosh, that’s so cute and I think I could do that! Adorable.
Very cute.
Pompoms were a craft that I learned as a child. I loved doing chicks in soft yellow and then glued a tiny red beak… might think of this for Easter.
Wishing you a lovely weekend,
Teresa
