How are you doing today? Are you enjoying the beautiful weather we’re having right now? I spent part of yesterday outside on the patio, cleaning and sweeping. The patio set was getting icky and got a good cleaning. I left the cushions on the chairs for now and my fall-arrangement on the table. In fact, I gave some fall lovin’ to the potting bench which is located right next to our deck. Some fresh mums and pumpkins were scattered on top to perk up the bench.
I pulled out some things from inside. Pumpkins and ornamental corn, a leafy garland, a wreath, a cloche and a picture frame. The watering- can and pots were already out here on the bench, to which I added the mums and branches.
The mums look happy out here, love their beautiful colors and fall aroma. I don’t know what else to call it, mums smell like fall to me.
I have to figure out how to keep them watered while we’re on vacation.
Next to the purple mum I placed a frame with a fall picture I printed from the computer. It has a chubby bird on it, kinda like my chubby bird sitting next to the dish with the corn and a pumpkin inside.
The pumpkin inside the cloche was a sweet gift from my daughter one year. It has one of my favorite bible verses on it.
Give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good;
His love endures
It’s so much fun bringing some of the indoors out, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere near the patio. I’m just wondering how long it will be before the wind kicks up and things start flying – then it’s time to bring most of the fall decorations back inside.
Happy Fall Y’all!
