Red, White and Blue

Happy Fourth of July week y’all!  Summer is in full swing, temperatures are soaring and a trip to the beach sounds marvelous right about now. Is that where you are headed this coming week? I hope you are planning something special for the upcoming holiday weekend because you deserve it!  I’ve been fluffing the house by adding touches of red, white and blue – let me show you.

Happy Fourth!

I’ve decided to keep my summer wreath on the front door and tweaked it with some patriotic embellishment.  Summer and daisies are made for each other, don’t you think?  Come on in…

4th of July

Here in the entry I’ve popped some of my favorite “blues” with red gerber daisies and white geraniums.

My blue and white collection is growing with the addition of this large vase I recently picked up at an estate sale. I’m thinking a couple more pieces and my collection will be complete since I roll with “a little of this and a touch of that”.

I printed my own “God Bless America” sign on pic-monkey and then framed it.  The tray and candle are from Target and I’m sure I’ve shown you the candlestick lamp before.

In the breakfast nook this small tray with fresh flowers makes me smile. I found the fun glass bottles at Michaels, just added some colorful straws. Those cute bowls look entirely too empty…I may need to fill them with some ice cream or something.   Looking forward to a great week ahead!

God bless you my friends!

  1. G’Day from Australia! I love blue & white and have lots of it in my home. The red goes so well with it and is perfect for July 4th!

If you have a minute to spare I’d be so thrilled if you could pop by and share your post at my weekly Say G’day linky party. It’s on now and this would be a fabulous addition!
