A while back I purchased some Urbane Bronze Paint from Sherwin Williams. I planned on painting the coffee table but, after I painted a small area under the tabletop I changed my mind and passed on painting the table. So, here I was with left-over paint and all of my painting supplies spread out all over the kitchen counter and floor. The small dresser sitting in the entry was going to be my next victim. I took the hardware off and got busy. ( I’m a messy painter)
After lightly sanding the dresser I started painting it with the Urbane Bronze color. It gave the piece a darker, richer look.
I’m debating whether to bronze-up the hardware or leave it as is?
I added a few accessories back on the dresser. The branches in the pottery vase are faux (Potterybarn-clearance-last year). The small gold vase was purchased at an estate sale. It is made out of wood and the stain turned icky, so painted over it with rubb-n-buff. The picture frame came from World Market and the candle-stick lamp from Steinmart.
This small dresser has been painted many times….it is always a fun project for me!
