Sweet Springtime Tulips and a Fun Find

Happy Monday to all!!  How was your weekend?  I hope you enjoyed some warmer temperatures in your neck of the woods and had a chance to play outside.  On Saturday morning I put down my paintbrush long enough to make a trip to the grocery store and scouted an estate sale. By the time I got to the sale it was pretty much picked over and I ended up with a hobnail glass to add to my small collection of milk glass.

These beautiful tulips jumped into my cart at the grocery store…..what a sweet pick-me-up!

It seems my estate sale find and the fresh bunch of tulips are made for each other.

Can’t go wrong with adding a touch of blue to this sweet Spring arrangement.  Now,  I better get back to my task on hand, more painting.  I’m working on the breakfast area…AGAIN.  I just can’t seem to get it right.  What are you doing today?

A Touch of Spring on the Coffee Table

Better late than never – I just got back from the grocery store with a bunch of yellow tulips. Fresh flowers make me happy!!  Time to create a quick spring vignette before Easter arrives.  The coffee table was begging for a touch of Spring and these yellow tulips were just what was needed.

The seagrass tray on the coffee table usually holds the hurricane and magazines.  I found the blue and white bowl at TJ Maxx a while back, it came home with me and landed in this spot on top of some magazines.  I simply added some filler to the bowl and a handful of Easter eggs.

This is my version of a sweet spring nest if you will, of course the eggs are fake but I think they look real. I love the different sizes, shapes and colors of the eggs, aren’t they cute?

Morning sunshine casting shadows…

No bunnies this year, they are tucked away in a box, the only one that made it out this year is attached to the spring wreath on the front door. We’ll be spending Easter with family in the Dallas area.  We can’t wait to spend time with the grands….it’s been way too long!!

Thank you for visiting, and a Happy Easter to you!
