The Other Wall

Hi friends! I hope your week is off to a good start!  I woke up really early to rumble and rain this morning, welcomed rain for sure.  Recently I talked about refreshing our guest room.  It wasn’t a huge makeover or anything – I’ve re-upholstered the headboard, added some new pillows to the bed and changed out the curtains. On the other wall, opposite from the bed I added this white mirror from Target, it is the perfect size for this space and adds light color and sparkle to the room.

This fun galvanized bucket with rope handles also jumped in my basket at Target.  I think it looks so pretty filled with a happy plant I bought at Walmart and a sweet heart I found in my box of “this and that” and decided to attach it to one of the rope handles.

And while shopping at Walmart I found this white pillow with a sweet scalloped trim, it came home with me and ended up in the guest room.

I like how fresh and summery this room feels right now….like a summer breeze!  Still contemplating painting this bench…can you believe I haven’t even tried chalk paint yet?  I see another fun project on the horizon :)

As always, thank you for visiting!

That’s such a pretty room. A mirror makes every room better. I love the way they bounce the light around. The bench is wonderful the way it is but it might be tempting to add a little color. Only if you won’t regret it though. :)

Hi. The bucket is called an olive bucket. Walmart has even had some for ten or so dollars.
